Jerry Karzen – Trainer

Jerry Karzen studied with Moshe Feldenkrais at the Feldenkrais Institute in Tel Aviv from 1976 to 1983. During these years, he was both his traveling companion and his secretary and close friend. Since 1980, Jerry has been the educational director of some 30 training programs in 9 countries, and a guest trainer in many other programs.

Jerry Karzen has collaborated in the editing of Dr. Feldenkrais’ last two books (The Elusive Obvious and The Potent Self). He has also directed and filmed 95% of the existing videos of Dr. Feldenkrais’ private Functional Integration lessons. At Dr. Feldenkrais’ request, he organized his final training program in Amherst, USA. And he was the first executive director of the Feldenkrais Foundation.
