Pia Appelquist – Assistant

Pia Appelquist has been a certified Feldenkrais practitioner since 2010, and a certified assistant trainer since 2019.

She is of Danish nationality but has lived and worked in France since 1990. Pia Appelquist studied anthropology and then pursued a career as a professional actress. Upon starting the Feldenkrais training, she decided to dedicate herself fully to the Feldenkrais Method.

She is co-founder of the Beliashe Institute – Center for Arts and Human Potential, in Aurillac. For more than 25 years, she has been researching and developing a method of working to enrich the language of the stage, through movement, for professional actors. She initiated and actively participated in innovative art education work in schools and universities, and assisted several groups of adults and children in different learning processes.

She organizes and assists professional training programs in the Feldenkrais Method in France and abroad.
