The center
An oasis for learning
Yvo and Pia spent a big part of their lives crafting the art of teaching and transmission.
They taught movement and theatre in just about every setting imaginable: rural French villages, rehab centers, prisons, and even the most prestigious drama schools.
Creating a Feldenkrais center was the perfect opportunity to put their years of experience into action and even go a step further. Their mission: how to create the optimal conditions for learning.
Crafting an inspiring and stimulating learning environment was high on the priority list, right up there with making sure the coffee never runs out. Nestled amidst mountains with a view on the volcanic hills and surrounded by books and paintings, it is a haven for creativity.
And it is not only a physical space, it is also the conferences, concerts and events that are organized after training hours. At the end of the four years, the place is brimming with memories. Many students finish the training calling it their second home.

Upcoming cohort
Cantal 6 is for people looking for a deep pathway inside an immersive study setting. Here, the training takes the form of a research retreat, with real time to learn, integrate, and live together.

Practical questions
Yes. You can write to us or book a call to prepare a visit, ask questions, and sense whether this center fits the way you want to learn.
Cantal works like a study retreat: a more removed rhythm, a strong connection to the place, and time to learn, integrate, and live together in Aurillac.
For Cantal, logistics are closer to a stay: lodging, travel to Aurillac, meals, and time on site should be prepared in advance with the program and the team’s guidance.
The language depends on the center, cohort, and teaching team. Language and translation details are specified in the program and can be confirmed with the team.
Make-up possibilities are discussed with the pedagogical team depending on the moment in the curriculum, the length of the absence, and certification requirements.
