Who want to expand their practice into the sports world but feel intimidated by the environment or language.
Masterclass à la demande
Choune Ostorero
A specialized workshop for Feldenkrais practitioners on how to effectively communicate with, treat, and improve the performance of athletes and sports clubs.

Intervenant
A certified Feldenkrais practitioner since 2011, she began working with athletes in 2009 with SO Chambéry Natation, before collaborating with the clubs of Annecy, Seynod, Belleville-sur-Saône, and Bron. Her involvement in sports across various disciplines, at different levels, has sharpened her interest in learning through movement. Various injuries led her to reconsider her approach. The discovery of the Feldenkrais Method radically shifted and transformed her sports practice. Since 2009, as a Feldenkrais practitioner, she has been offering athletes her experience and skills in body awareness, helping them optimize their performance and enhance their sports practice.

Stop being dismissed as "too soft." Learn the vocabulary that opens doors in professional sports clubs.
cquire a concrete, replicable "recipe" (Active Recovery) that athletes love and that provides immediate relief.
Learn to observe and intervene in high-speed movements, moving away from the "slow motion" bias of traditional Feldenkrais.
Understand how to frame your work as a vital tool for keeping athletes in the game longer and handling higher training loads.
Leave with specific exercises (Straw Ball, String Sculpting) and intervention models (15-min FI) ready for the field.
You will learn how to adapt the Feldenkrais Method for the high-intensity world of sports. This includes specific techniques like "Active Recovery" to lower muscle tonus, how to perform short, effective 15-minute sessions, and crucially, how to communicate with coaches and athletes using language they value (efficiency, power, strategy) rather than Feldenkrais specific language.
The course is a mix of theory/discussion on communication, practical demonstrations with athletes, ATM lessons for the practitioners, and "field work" where you practice short interventions on specific sporting gestures.
The course is designed for Feldenkrais Practitioners (or students in training).
The course is taught in French.
Approximately 12 to 16 hours. The content covers a 3-day workshop.
Explore the difference between "pressing" into the ground and finding an "internal point of support." Through dynamic ATMs, learn how to help athletes move in any direction without preparation by shifting their center of gravity effectively.
Enhance your understanding of the body in space using the "String Lesson." Map the skeleton using vectors and lines, and use string to sculpt 3D models of the self, refining the practitioner's ability to handle the "volume" of an athlete's limbs.
Understand the hierarchy of sports clubs. Learn why pitching to a coach requires a different strategy than pitching to a club director, and how to frame Feldenkrais as a tool for club prestige and financial saving (via injury reduction).
