Colin Pip Dixon is a violinist, composer, actor, and Feldenkrais Practitioner who grew up in a theatrical family. He studied music at Mannes College (New York), the High School of Music & Art, and Haverford College, later receiving a full scholarship to the European Mozart Academy in Poland. He has composed music for theater productions such as His Majesty, the Devil (which he co-produced and performed in), Etty Hillesum, and The Tolstoy Diaries. In 2012, he founded The Elsewhere Ensemble, an interdisciplinary, intercultural performing arts group. Alongside his international performances, Colin has taught violin at several French National Conservatories and has published a book of short stories, …in God’s Flower Garden (Pocol Press). Through the Feldenkrais Method, he offers specialized workshops for professional musicians.
