Alan Questel

Trained by Dr. Feldenkrais (Amherst 1983) he is an Educational Director and Trainer, spending most of his time teaching people to become Feldenkrais Practitioners. He has taught thousands of people in over 20 countries, on 5 continents and lectured at universities, hospitals, and institutions across the globe. Alan has created numerous Feldenkrais programs on varied topics including one for pregnant women (Pregnant Pauses). He is author of Creating Creativity – Embodying the Creative Process; and Practice Random Acts of Kindness…and Like Yourself More. Alan is known for his clarity, creativity and down to earth style of teaching. He brings a depth of understanding, humor and gentle human perspective while creating lively conditions for learning.  With a background in acting, Alan has collaborated with notable figures such as Jerzy Grotowski (My Dinner with Andre) and Paul Sills (Second City, Chicago) and taught acting and improvisation at Princeton University. He has developed innovative approaches to embodying creativity, and sees the Feldenkrais Method® as a powerful tool for personal growth and transformation.
