Betzabel Falfan

Betzabel Falfan, certified Feldenkrais practitioner and co-founder of the Forest Lighthouse Center in Brussels, leads weekly Awareness Through Movement classes and offers individual Functional Integration sessions. She specializes in supporting infants, children with special needs, seniors, individuals recovering from accidents, and those dealing with chronic pain. Currently training in the Child’Space Method, she is expanding her expertise to assist infants, children, and parents in their developmental journey.

In 2023, she became a certified facilitator of the ‘Brighter Minds’ program, helping children improve their cognitive and emotional abilities through the Alpha program. In the same year, she also completed a 20-hour certification in ‘Unlearning Pain’ (PRT, EAET) with Dr. Howard Schubiner, providing her with tools to help clients overcome chronic pain and emotional challenges.

Her multidisciplinary background as an actress and dancer significantly enriches her approach to somatic education. Between 2008 and 2013, she focused her academic research on classical Indian dance, specializing in Sattriya, one of India’s eight classical dance forms. She also trained extensively in Bharatanatyam and Sattriya in India, supported by scholarships such as ‘Paris Jeunes Talents’ and funding from the ICCR. Additionally, she studied dramatic arts at Cours Florent and the Gustave Charpentier Municipal Conservatory in Paris.

Certified in the Feldenkrais Method® through the Cantal 1 program in France (2016–2020), Betzabel has been actively involved in organizing and supporting students in professional Feldenkrais training programs in Belgium since 2019. She is also a certified Heartfulness meditation preceptor, integrating mindfulness and meditation into her practice to support personal growth and awareness.

At Forest Lighthouse, Betzabel combines her expertise in Feldenkrais, dance, and anthropology to create a rich and transformative learning experience. Her teaching emphasizes improving body awareness, mobility, self-confidence, and the joy of living fully. Through her integrative and compassionate approach, she inspires her students—whether children, adults, or seniors—to explore their potential, embrace their individuality, and enhance their quality of life.
