Caterina Forte
Caterina Forte is a Feldenkrais practitioner and researcher, member of the IFF Scientific Network and AIIMF. Since 2008, she has collaborated as an independent researcher with a number of universities and fine arts academies. In her recent research titled L’Arte che cura – a project in collaboration with the Institute for the Blind and the University of Palermo – she explored brain function, the Feldenkrais Method, and music (composed by herself) to improve self-awareness, psychophysical health, and creativity.
She has been studying the relationship between movement, the brain, and music since 1995. She obtained her Feldenkrais Practitioner Diploma from the “Michele Forte” Training of Stigara 1 in Milan.
In 2004 she opened Studio Forte in Palermo, where she has been teaching individual and group lessons, masterclasses, and functional recovery courses.
Working with renowned figures like Simona Atzori, Ornella Vanoni, and Anna Prina offered her a unique perspective on artistic growth and the role of Feldenkrais and music in achieving excellence.
Being passionate about emotional intelligence she became a Brain Profiler (Emotional Intelligence Network), and later a Certified Mentor of the HeartMath® Institute, focusing on cardiac coherence and its connection with Feldenkrais, meditation, and music.
Since 2008, she has been organizing Feldenkrais® Professional Training Programs and, in 2022, she introduced Child’Space® Training to Italy.
