Paris 14 An enduring legacy
Twelve years after PARIS 13, Myriam Pfeffer's last professional training course, PARIS 14 takes up the torch under the pedagogical direction of Sabine Pfeffer. Myriam Pfeffer, who introduced the Feldenkrais Method to the French-speaking countries of Europe, was trained by Moshe Feldenkrais during the very first professional training course. Her daughter Sabine Pfeffer was by her side during her years as a teacher, and attended Dr. Feldenkrais' final professional training course in the United States. Together with Myriam, she founded and directed the Parisian Accord Mobile center, where, from 1988 to 2012, the first practitioners in France learned and were certified. It is therefore not only with fidelity to the source, but in close proximity to it, that PARIS 14 founds its teaching. This heritage will be put to use, on the occasion of PARIS 14, in the service of the individual experience of each student, in the service of innovation in practice, and in the service of transmission itself, an element at the heart of the Feldenkrais Method.
