Konrad Wiesendanger utilizes systemic, body-oriented, and sensory-based techniques, combined with practical, personalized exercises to help individuals manage stress and improve ergonomics in the workplace. His approach, rooted in systemic and constructivist principles, emphasizes resourcefulness and well-being, guided by the philosophy of “as much as necessary, as little as possible.”

Konrad explores how every situation offers a wide range of possibilities—from shifting internal attitudes and values to transforming systems, environments, and relationships. Through playful and engaging methods, participants are encouraged to uncover new perspectives and embrace possibilities they may not have previously considered. His sessions foster creativity and adaptability, empowering individuals to approach challenges with greater confidence and ease.

We will then show a short documentary with Giorgia Bartolini, who has been collaborating with various hospitals in Turin, leading courses for healthcare professionals focused on preventing work-related stress, since 2020.

The event will conclude with a Q&A session with Konrad Wiesendanger.

This week's 5 lessons

Listening to Comfort - Rediscovering Ease in Daily Work Life

How can we become better at recognizing and responding to our own comfort? For many, the workday involves long hours of sitting and intense mental focus. When constantly immersed in thought, it’s easy to lose awareness of the body. Over time, work-related stress and anxiety often manifest as tension, fatigue, discomfort, and restricted breathing.

This week’s Awareness Through Movement (ATM) lessons are designed to address the unique challenges of the workplace. The focus will be on cultivating a deeper sense of physical awareness during everyday activities and finding simple ways to introduce variety and ease into habitual patterns. By gently refining posture, movement, and breathing, participants will discover how to enhance their self-use—unlocking greater comfort and vitality without strain or effort.
