Event Overview:

We’ll begin by introducing the program, speakers, and themes for the next 12 weeks. You'll also get a sneak peek at upcoming field documentaries with short excerpts.

12 Essential Neurosomatic strategies to improve motor functions with Nikos Appelqvist & Yvo Mentens :

The conference will kick off with an engaging presentation on the effects of the Feldenkrais Method on motor functions. This dynamic session will feature live demonstrations, research insights, and practical strategies to enhance movement, improve daily functioning, and advance skill development. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of how this approach can change the way we move, learn and live.
You'll also get a sneak peek at upcoming short documentaries with short excerpts. So you will discover how these strategies are used in the field.

Self-Actualization through self-knowledge with Alan Questel:

While many aspects of learning can be analyzed objectively, some dimensions— self-awareness and self-knowledge—are more challenging to quantify through traditional research methods. In his talk, Alan will explore questions such as : What does it mean to self-actualize ? To know oneself ? How do we uncover what we truly want ? How can we discover aspects of ourselves that remain hidden ? And why is movement a useful tool in this process ?

This week's 5 lessons

Improving the Reaching Function & Gaining Awareness Through Movement

A fascinating aspect of Feldenkrais ATM lessons is their ability to reshape our fundamental movement patterns. In these five lessons, you will revisit key movement patterns through the Feldenkrais approach, exploring new ways to engage with habits. You will discover how to refine the function of reaching from five different perspectives. However, the learning you’ll experience extends far beyond this single function, opening pathways to greater awareness, efficiency, and ease in movement.
